When do you get the noise?
Where does it sound like it is coming from?
Is there any way you might post a recording of the noise.?
Is there something you can do to make it happen all the time?
Sound loudest on driver's side , passenger side ?
Not knowing any more info, could the battery be weak contributing to the problem?
As you can see, it's tough to speculate without actually hearing the sound that has your concern.

There is an oil control solenoid that controls the amount of oil to the camshaft variable timing system.
A good part of the time the solenoid gets plugged up from debris or may quit working altogether. Replacement of the solenoid assy usually takes care of the problem.
