Default Tucson turbo issues

Hi new member and first post!! we have a 2007 Tucson diesel cdti, while running around town etc, it runs like a dream but when on a good run (A roads, duel carriageways, motorway) Average 50mph+. After about 50 mins/hour of driving the turbo just doesn't kick in any more?? Almost as though it goes into "limp mode" this has happened several times and we have never had any engine management light come on?? If we stop and park up for 30 mins or arrive at the destination, then take the car for a drive, it runs great again. 1st time it happened we dropped it off at the garage and was told it needed a "dpf regen" £100 and a day and half later, picked car up to give it a good run and yes you've guessed it! Exactly the same as before. Took it backto garage and was then told it would probably need a new dpf?? Now I'm no mechanic but I explained that it works fine when running around town and or short run and that we only ever have a problem on long run and it good speeds (50mph+) I hope someone can help, any advice or ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks
