Default 2005 Sonata Won't start

My 2009 Sonata (64K miles) won't start when key is turned. I only get 1 click sound coming from area in front of passenger by firewall. All lights and electical accessories appear to work fine, engine just won't turn over. Any Ideas?

2005 or 2009 Sonata? I'm going to assume 2005 since you have 64k miles on it. Is it cold where you live? I'm going to say it's the battery.

I know this all too well because it happened just yesterday to my wifes 2006 Kia Sedona. Went to start it yesterday morning (19-deg F) and it just clicked so I charged it all day with a trickle charger. Last night I unhooked the charger, cranked it and it started fine. I checked the voltage and it was 12.7 so I went to bed. Woke up this morning and it just clicked. $80 later and it now has a new battery and starts with ease.

Thanks and yes, it's an 05. We'll check battery first before digging deeper.
