Can I hook up head phones to my 2008 accent L 3dr w/dealer installed XM/CD&MP3 capable Radio.I was told to attach an adjustable line out converter w/RCA plugs and use an adapter for the head phone 1/8 connector and wire LOC into the speaker wires . As you can tell I'am not sure just what to do. Yes I do want to use head phones on my long drive on noisy roads, I have dark windows here in Arizona.

 

You can blast speakers so everyone knows you're coming for miles around, but I think driving with headphones is illegal, isn't it?
