Question Low revs, resonating sound, un-driveable

2014 accent, sedan, 1.6l.Owned from new. issue from out of the blue. Starts okay but revs stay between 600 -1000. Press accelerator to the floor it will, run rough, shake and shudder then cut out. Mobile mechanic diagnosed a bad fuel filter- maybe pump and sender unit... Replaced $770.00. Problem persisted. No change. Compression checked- all cylinders are good. No oil/coolant mixing. Next suggestion - MAP sensor... Replaced - no change, problem persists. Maybe bad fuel, tank was a quarter, filled up with fresh fuel and fuel system cleaner- no change. Injectors replaced - no change. Now talk of air intake gasket replacement. Initially No Error codes. One was displayed "too rich". That was a one off and has not returned despite the issue persisting. Any assistance appreciated

Do you remember what the code was? If so, can you post it here?

There is a specified sequence of what is supposed to happen and there could be several reasons for the "TOO RICH" problem. The code can provide some direction..
