Hey, someone scratched my car and I need to get a price estimate for paint repair. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with it so I don’t get scammed. What would a ballpark price range look like??

 

As you know the whole area will need to be redone.
You might have the place you would use to do the repaint work and they most likely either won't charge you or a fee just for the estimate.
Insurance companies usually like to get more than one estimate.
Different parts of the country charge different prices so best to get an estimate from somebody in your area.
Some insurance companies will send you to a place they know for an estimate, depends on how you want to handle it.
