My transmission is leaking from the drivers side of the differential. The leak is from the where the axle attaches to the transmission differential. I wanted to know what the possible cause could be? The transmission is a re-manufactured and 11 months old. I have replaced the fluid once and used full synthetic for imports. The passenger side is dry. The top of the transmission is dry. Any ideas on the issue? How bad is the repair?

 

update , I contacted a transmission repair shop and they advised it could be just a bad seal. Best case scenario and would cost $200.
