Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

2001 hyundai elentra cranks no start.

If you jump the fuel pump relay contacts to send power to the fuel pump , will the vehicle start then?
You need to do this to rule out everything from the relay to the pump. Then you can go after why the relay is not working.

I attempted to jump the fuel pump with jumper wires at the relay to make the pump turn on an car won't start. Verified yesterday I am not getting any spark now.

I really don't like asking you the next question, but here goes.

Where did you get the replacement crank sensor?

Their parts are usually OK..
Do you have a test light or voltmeter to do any checking with?

If you do, check if there is power coming to the ignition coil. If OK, then check the other side of the coil terminals and see if the circuit is being opened and closed.as the engine is being cranked.

The test light probe end should blink when the engine is cranked. That would tell us the crank sensor is sending a signal to the ign module and then to the computer.

Voltmeter may show varying reading but will never be fast enough to tell anything else. If the reading varies it most likely means the circuit is being open and closed which is what we want. If all that checks out, you should be getting spark..

Do I pull the #1 plug wire off the top of the coil pack to check to see if it has power to the coil pack?

Default Ignition wiring diagram

Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows what wires come from the ignition to power the coil packs? I believe I have no power to the coil packs for some reason.
