RE: 2002 Elantra Front Disc Removal?
I doubt there is any other way than slicing the disk with the sawzall, at least if your vehicle is 5 years old and has over 65K miles. Many thanks to Doohickie for the suggesting the method otherwise I would have given up. There was no need to punch the studs out of the hub, as the two halvessplit very easily using the chisel and can be pulled out. Yes! I used a lot of anti-stick grease before installing the new disks.

I used penetrating oil and my disc that was stuck came off with a few hits with a hammer. I sprayed it into the wheel stud holes, the two holes with the screws that hold the rotor onto the hub, and behind the rotor where it is touching the hub. I waited five minutes and then it came off.

RE: 2002 Elantra Front Disc Removal?
Hey! Forum newbie here.
Of course I'm having the same exact issue here and did all the same beating, heating, and soakingwith no luck. Even started to bend the center bolt on my 3 jaw puller. Before I go the sawzall route, I was wondering if steppenw7 had any luck with the hardened bolts through the two holes before he useed the sawzall? With all the force I attempted with, I highly doubt this thing will budge with that approach, but I certainly hope it does/did!
Thanks.
