Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Unhappy A/C, heat & fan only work on temp setting #1

I was told I needed to replace my blower motor resistor at my local part store. I changed out the resistor and that does not fix the problem. I have already checked fuses. Looking for suggestions on what this might be. It's a 2006 Hyundai Elantra. Thanks in advance.

Temp setting 1 or fan blower speed 1? The Temp dial and the fan speed dial are two different things. It's possible the dial itself is bad.

It is the blower fan speed dial, when I turn it past one, the air stops working.

My Tucson had the same problems many years ago. The fix was to replace the dial assembly.
