The ABS and stability made a big difference in one instance for me. It was a left hand turn going down hill with freezing rain. The ABS groaned like heck but I made the turn. I defiantly would have hit the curb in my old Elantra with Michelin tires.

But as they say , your milage may vary.

Boy Jeffs3820, you can say THAT again. I've never driven a car that performed so poorly in the snow. Next year, we're definitely getting snow tires. Thank God Toronto wasn't very snowy this year!

Thanks for the tip, I'll check those Goodyears out.
