2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine Warning Light Flashing
I own a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder, 185-hp GDI engine. At 84,000 km, the engine warning light started to flash constantly and the engine had reduced power and/or hesitation/stalling when accelerating from a stop. The oil level and engine temperature was normal. I took the vehicle to my Hyundai dealer and this is what appeared in the service report....
Check Engine Light diagnosis, FLASHING ENGINE LIGHT - P1326 KNOCK SENSOR / PERF BEARING CLEARANCE TEST COMPLETED -PASSED. ECU SOFTWARE UPDATED, ADAPTIVE VALUES CLEARED. IF DTC RETURNS REC REPLACE KS......All services performed were covered by the Hyundai warranty......After speaking to the service manager, I was told verbally that presently, there is a Hyundai Recall for this complaint. Have any forum members experienced a similar problem with their vehicle? What was the outcome?
