I have had my santa fe for a year now and it is fine but when im braking there is quite alot of vibration through the steering wheel.I have taken it to the dealer who blamed it on brake dust.They cleaned the discs and it solved the problem for a few days and cost me £40.
I cannot keep taking it back every week and pay £40 each time,so i was wondering if anyone else has suffered with this problem.

 

Brake dust? Nope, it's usually due to the brake rotors going out of true. Perhaps you can have them removed and "cut", or maybe replace them altogether. Is it under warranty? How many miles? What year?

Its an 07 with 18000 miles and is still under warranty so I shall have another word to the dealer
