Default Deceleration

Ok when in cruise control ... you start going on a down grade .. the engine rpm's increase alot ? is there a way to turn that off .. dealer said to push the down hill button , but that does nothing ? ? ? any help ?

Cruise Control on...
The reason is to hold the set speed going down hill while in cruise control....
Exit cruise control and the engine won't rev-up.. but your speed will !!

Or, shift over into the manual mode, and hold a gear or two lower instead of four, then use your brakes sparingly to maintain your speed....works for me. You can do this even with the cruise on, if you don’t need to use your brakes on a moderate grade.
