Hi all,

I have a 2012 Sonata SE and the sport mode (manual shifter) has failed at least 5 times when it was under warranty. The vehicle now has 77k and it recently failed again. I took it to the dealer who has fixed the problem before but now I'm told the repair is no longer covered since I'm over the 5yrs 50k. I called Customer Care in California and they said it was no longer covered. Am I wrong on thinking that this has been a documented problem from the beginning with this vehicle and it should be covered. I don't think its a wear item like breaks. Oh and to top it off the compressor on the AC went it that's a $1,200 repair. Does anyone have a Service Reps contact information that I could escilate the problem to?
