Default Crankshaft sensor

Hi,

The crankshaft senor keeps failing in my 02 Sonata 2.4. The car stops running, throws the crank sensor code, it gets replaced, the car runs for a few days or minutes, and the car quits again. I have had the sensor replaced three times (there is always a code for it) and it always fails again. On the mechanics suggestion I even replaced the ECU, which allowed the car to run for five minutes. The timing belt is brand new.

Any suggestions to what is causing my crankshaft sensor to keep going bad?

Thanks

Are you using Hyundai OEM replacements or aftermarket replacement sensors?
