Hi new Friends,

I have this weird noise that comes from the engine when driving---

Goes like this, starting from 30-40 MPH when accelerating here is what happens, when you are at that range of speed, I hear a faint grinding noise for a brief moment , happens when tapping the gas pedal, then hence the grind noise for maybe 1 second, is this the transmission from ECO mode or something else engaging? Checked the belts ok. I have not been to the dealer yet, I can reproduce the problem, about 70% of time. Again this sound is only in the 30-40 MPH range?

Car has 5K miles,

Any ideas????

Bring to dealer. Noises hard to diagnose unless you are actually in vehicle and hearing . Could be chassis..engine..trans. Let us know how they did.

 

Yes, will bring to dealer, your correct noise is hard to detect, Yesterday I was able to find the noise at a dead stop, when pushing the Tach around 3K, the noise was consistent so I think it is chassis related and or the interior.

So will let you all know!
