My Fob won't work!!!
I changed the battery in my key fob day before yesterday and NOW IT WON'T WORK! I found out the hard way! I went to a meeting yesterday, locked the car, came out and NOTHING happened! I tried the key and it won't turn. So I called the lockout service thru my insurance and they came and opened the door. It recognizes the fob when I put it in the port in the console. I went by the dealership. They tried their battery and their tester and nothing! Has anybody else had the fob go bad or completely die? The Hyundai dealership quoted me $398 to replace the fob!! I politely declined! I can get one online for 20 - 90 bucks and have the dealership program it for $75. Does anyone know which online stores or sites are the best??
