Default Brakes for 2006 tucson

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. The SUV runs great and currently at about 135k.

I've already done the Timing Belt Change around 120K but I need new brakes. The dealership wants 300.00 approximately for parts (all four pads) and labour. Is this reasonable guys?

Please advice as I am starting to have brake fade and would require some new brakes asap!

Thanks for all your help guys!
Myron

I don't know . . . . it depends on what they are doing. What exactly does that $300 cover? Both front and rear? New pads only or does it also include new rotors?

The 200 is just for the pads. 95 for front, 95 for rear. and 95 for labour. Is this in line with what everyone else pays for service or should I be looking for a private mechanic?

And thank you very much for your info/help by the way

If it's just pads, no, $300 seems high to me.

Me personally, I replace my brake pads myself. About $30 for front pads, about $25 for rears and $0 for my labor.
