Hyundai Tucson GLS 2.7 po335 "crankshaft position sensor circuit A"
I've got a 2005 Hyundai Tucson gls 2.7 v6. I had problems a year and a half ago or so with the crankshaft position sensor. Was difficult to start car...it'd crank but wouldn't catch, stalling while slowing down to turn/stop, jerking, idling rough, couldn't get it to go higher than 65 miles an hour and my RPM would run high when having to "gun" it to pass someone. Scanned it with an obd2 diagnostics reader and pulled an error code po335 "Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit". I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and voila no more issues. Until now. Started having all those same issues. Thought maybe I bought a dud crankshaft sensor that didn't hold up. So, I replaced the sensor...again with another brand new one. cleared the error code and tried to start it. but still having all the same issues and the code came back. I have a multimeter but I have no idea how to use the thing. I bought a Camshaft sensor to replace the one in there now because I read that the ECM could throw a crankshaft error code when it could in fact be the camshaft. I can not get to the camshaft to unbolt it...i am so frustrated!! any help or ideas would be amazing and greatly appreciated!
