Default Looking at new car

Good day. I’m looking at getting either a Elantra Sport, Elantra GT N line, Veloster Turbo or Kona Turbo AWD. I would like an auto this time around. I know about DCT and how they work. My last vehicle and my current one is a manual, both went 10+ years on original clutch. Currently at 256,000 on my 08 Focus. I know there have been issues with Hyundai DCT, are they worth getting for the long run? I’d like to hear from people who have some years and miles on their DCT, not a couple weeks or 1200km, and if you have had any problems that require dealer service. Going for some test drives in the coming week so I’ll find out my first impression. Tried asking same question on another Hyundai forum but still no answer. Gotta be some people out there who drive a DCT.

In 2018 Hyundai designed their own DCT after years of problems. Get a 2019+ to avoid these issues. If you've been driving a manual you may want too wait for the IMT to come too your country, has an H pattern shifter with no clutch pedal!
