I recently bought an '07 Sonata with 35K miles. It was a fleet car and appears to have been well maintained. I live outside Boston and the roads here are terrible; potholes and badly laid patches every 10-15 feet on many roads. My 15 year old Subaru legacy and my friend's '07 Camry handle these conditions with few problems but the Sontata rocks and rolls, thumps in the rear with every bump and seems totransmit every road imperfectioninto the cabin. I know the Sonata has been criticized by some for having a "soft" suspension.Any suggestions for improving the ride? Would heavy duty shocks help or something else? I like the car in all other respects but I feel like the Boston roads are killing it.
