Throwout bearing 2000 model Hyundai accent
#21
One of the driveshafts was not seated properly in the transmission, maybe from install I can't remember. See if you can spot which it was.
I took out the shaft, tried to replace the circlip which was deformed however no one could order the part in not even the manufacturer. So I reshaped the original circlip, mounted it properly, refilled the transmission fluid and it hasn't been a problem since.
My transmission can sometimes be a little difficult to get into first now. I think it is because the cables coming from the gear stick is missing one or more of those little rubber and metal rings they I couldn't identify where they came from.
Thank you again for all your help. It is so nice having my gear working again!
