One of the driveshafts was not seated properly in the transmission, maybe from install I can't remember. See if you can spot which it was.

I took out the shaft, tried to replace the circlip which was deformed however no one could order the part in not even the manufacturer. So I reshaped the original circlip, mounted it properly, refilled the transmission fluid and it hasn't been a problem since.

My transmission can sometimes be a little difficult to get into first now. I think it is because the cables coming from the gear stick is missing one or more of those little rubber and metal rings they I couldn't identify where they came from.
