Camshaft alignment
Hello, I'm Steve from Hawthorne, California, and I'm new to this forum. I'm hopeful that I may find help here with my camshaft issue.

Does anybody how to align the cams which have been removed? I'm not talking about the crank and cam alignment, but rather, the alignment of the intake & exhaust cams.
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

If the cams have been removed then putting them back is just about timing
And putting everything back to their timing marks.
Unless, you took of the gear at the end of the cam.
But, if you get the correct orientation then the timing marks should still line up.
They should be keyed to go in only one way.
The timing between the two cams and the crank are all about having the timing marks in place.
The timing belts should be taut. Hand rotate two revolutions to make sure it runs smoothly
If not then start again.
There are plenty of videos on youtube.
That is if I understood the question??
